ProCare Therapy has partnered with a school district in Norridge, IL that is in need of a licensed registered nurse for the summer session + 24-25 school year. This position will be part time for the summer, providing general nursing services to a K-12 caseload. The district is open to both LPN + RN certifications. Additional details about the caseload, duties + responsibilities of the position can be discussed during an interview. This position will also offer the opportunity to renew for the full 24-25 school year. The position will offer a competitive hourly pay rate of $38/hour + healthcare benefits.   • Working with special education students and students with intellectual/physical disabilities 
  • Candidate must be prepared to assist with various medical needs, including but not limited to; vent, trach, non ambulatory, diabetes care, allergy care, seizures, NPO, GERD, Partial Trisomy 18, hearing impairment, wheelchairs, G-tube feeding, toileting, lifting, diapering, repositioning, bus riding, etc.

Qualifications:

  • LPN or RN certification required
  • Active CPR/AED certification
  • In schools experience preferred
  • Fingerprinting, drug screen & background check will be required of all candidates
  • Special education experience required
  • Interest in schools and education preferred
